Corvette Restorers, has anyone used Presta Products (Compounds and Glazes)? If so what are your opinions on this product and can it be compared to the 3M compounds and glazes.
I have never heard of this company and my painter wants to try the Presta product line. (Presta has been in business since 1953.)
I don't want to be the 1st, to me this is an unknown product.
The dealer / paint shop that sells this products claims it is better than 3M compounds / glazes and easier to use.
I have all the Presta products and I think they are great. I use a Makita variable speed buffer along with the Presta wool and foam pads. If your painted likes Presta then let him use what he knows. I switched to Presta after hearing good feedback from some painters on the Southern Polyurethanes Forum. I think all the products on the market are pretty good, I found the Presta very user friendly and provides a mirror shine.
