Fixing some leaks
Cowl:
I have attached a photo of the cowl area and a door jamb. There appears to have been some tar like substance poured over the windshield wiper bracket and in the area in general. I don't know if it is factory but from the looks of it I would guess it was there to fill some leaky spots. Anyone know what may have been used or if ther is a recommended way to seal that area from water leaks. I am guessing that that is one of the areas the water may be coming in because it drips from behind the dash among other places.
Door Jamb:
If you look at the door jamb where I drew the lines here was a bead of caulk sealing the gap along the firewall pieces. Does anyone know what it is?
