Paint Repair
I have a spot, about the size of a quarter on the front lower fender area. The paint is gone judging from the rough edges around the spot. I'd like to fix this before doing a full detail: wash, clay, paint correction, etc. I have the appropriate paint, but not sure how to prep the surface. Any suggestions or links where I can find assistance? This is a daily driver, so I'm not looking for perfect at this point. When time and money allows, I'm going to have the car repainted.

Guys, it would be impossible for anyone to give you advice without pictures as there are a 100 different ways to fix, back-tape or flow-coat a brushed scratched and most of this will depend on color, how bad and where located.
Scratches may just be a sand and hand buff??
