Paint code vs. Powder Coating code

Hey Guys,
Got a local young man who does quality powder coating. I want him to do my calipers in ZR-1 Blue. But, we are not sure of the paint color code vs. a powder coating color codes.

Cna any one please provide me a code for ZR1 Blue powder coating. The pictures is what I am gunning for.

Not sure if that exists. Theres tons of colors charts. I would bet you can find a pretty close match.

The anodized look like your blue appears to be is done in 2 stages. Usually a silver or chrome is applied, then a transparent blue over top.

That is what Mike said, silver metalic base coat, with candy blue over coat. But, now I have to look at all the blues on the color charts. I was so hoping or a code or number with a manufacture. That way this youngster can't get it wrong. He is a nice guy who is just trying to get things going.

He did a great job on my C4 calipers so I'd thought I throw him another bone. Well the hunt goes on.

Decided to go with "Mike the Powder Coater". He has received them and should see them back some time next week.

I post pictures as things move along. Or you can track my thread "Getting the GS Ready" in the C6 General Discussion. Again, thanks for the advice.
