Sorry if I´m a bit off topic, but I´m in desperate need of a specifik Harley Davidson paint code / recipe - and that is apparently impossible to get through the European dealerships. I hope that some of you might also have the possibility to share these informations.
My dad has a 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide FLHXSE3 (the CVO model) and it has the special CVO paint scheme in metallic orange/brown (see picture). He has a few parts that needs to be painted the solid brown colour, but the European dealerships are not allowed to provide the paint code / recipe (they say that they cant get it because its a special factory CVO paint). The informations is neither available in the recipe library at the paint shop.
Our painter (who also painted my vette) has tried to analyze the paint code with this special tool/machine he has, but it needs to be within a "reliable range" (and its not).
Do any of you know this colour (the code / recipe), and perhaps can share informations about how its applied (1-2-3 stages?)
