Hello,
I modified my 82 vette by putting a 383 stroker engine with an airgap intake manifold and holly carb. Now that the hood doesn't shut, I am considering buying an L-88 type hood. The hood from corvette mods comes with a gelcoat and I don't know a lot about this stuff. I want to at least temporarily install the hood and keep tinkering with the engine mods. Is this okay, or do I have to get some kind of finishes on the hood to be outside on test drives?
