Hey guys,
this is prob gonna need too go to DUB, so I will post what I have going on and see if he answers.
I am glueing some pieces on my 68, now I know DUB Said too use VPA on C3 cars. And thats what I did, but I am wondering if I should glass over the VPA, or should I just do a finish swipe with more VPA and call it good? Give me your thoughts all! Thanks Troy
you can VPA as a bonding agent and to do body work
No need to glass over the top of VPA
made sure to abrade the bonding surfaces
thank you, thats what i thought i could do....for what ever reason, VPA is hard as hell too get right now in our area? i have been only able too get qrts no gals...! thats very pricey
VPA is only sold in quarts now. Gallons were discontinued. Be sure to check the date on the bottom of the can to make sure its less than a year old. 1 year shelf life according to Evercoat. Its actually pretty cheap compared to two part bonding epoxies like 3M 8115.
