Run Razor have you used one? Where did you buy it?

cover with glazing putty then sand out the run

Explain that glazing putty in detail. We talking a paint run on clear coat .

I take a razor and scrape the run flat - then wet sand and buff

Cover it with a light coat of polyester glazing putty sand out the run then the rest of the glazing putty without sanding through the clear around it

All that is needed is a razor blade, hold firm and drag the razor blade over the run. Sand the run alitle first and make sure you have a sharp blade

Is this the same on clear coat. After you sand the clear coat out then what do you do shoot new clear coat?

If done correctly you will simply wet sand/buff to bring back the original luster. This requires very fine grit. If you have sanded through the clear into the color you are done...
