Need tips on using electric buffer
So im in the stone ages always preferred to do it by hand
Friends 08 Expedition (black) has some wear/tear scratches etc...cant hurt it really
Got a cheap variable speed buffer....some Meguiars no. 2 fine cutting compound. know I need something finer not sure which one to get, store had a bunch.
Same with buff pads. I was told I need an 8"? Med and fine pad be ok? They are the ones with the hook/loop deal that screws on to the shaft.
Also saw a few larger white buff type pads no idea when those are to be used. Keep in mind the paint is old and results dont need be perfect its more of a guinea pig type deal.
One side has lots of oxidation on it pretty confident it should come out right.
Edit....on clay bars. What difference if any is there from the stuff you use on paint vs modeling clay? Owner was asking me about it had no clue lol
