Hello everyone I have a 84 corvette that I got on a trade but paint is pretty bad with chips and paint flaking off and just pretty rough,so I have done some sanding and got it to were it is now but some spots went down to the smc so my question is what type of primer should I use for my situation either epoxy or will Urethane primer work
I think epoxy will give you a good bond to the sanded original paint. Then urethane for build and blocking. Then seal then base coat then clear. Pick your products and be sitting down when you add up the cost. Since it's not a super valuable car, research the more economical paint lines to ease the budget pain! Maybe some folks here will suggest products. Looks good you are on the way!
