Default Small Defects On Body

Guys: I have some small defects at the back right corner (this area is covered by the bumper). I thought I’d place fiberglass underneath the body and then apply a thin coat of VPA on the top (outside). I don’t think it makes sense to build it up with fiberglass on the outside. What do y’all think?

I would personally build those areas (and all others at the same time) up with fiberglass strand (and resin ..or epoxy). Then sand it down to match. Yer not talking much time too do them 'right'. Then you won't have any regrets. The time it took you to post the message and picture ...you would have had them done and sanded ... LOL

Thanks for the recommendation.. Yeah, I have a few more like that: at the very front of the clip (the "nose").

Yeah ...just mark them with some tape or whatever works for you, and gouge them out and re-glass them all at once. Sand to match the surrounding body.

In the end you'll be glad you will be glad you did it the right way, and should last a long time. Good luck on your project
