I began a thread on the tech forum about this. I'm going to chime in here also. I'm not sure which forum was the best choice for the dyno sheet. In any event we got 576rwhp/531rwtq with a conservative tune. Hopefully Dave will post the sheet once he sees the thread.
Should have the car this weekend: really looking forward to driving it!!!

Thats the best part. This car makes 576HP and he can fill it up at the local station!
Mild compression and pump gas nearly 600 HP MONSTER!!!
:worship CARTEK :worship:
That's exactly right. Dave and Julio clearly got my intent and built accordingly. There's a fair bit of money, time and R&D in this project but it came out exactly as desired. I did not want to build a hanger queen, nor a drag strip specialist. We aimed at, and achieved, a high output NA engine that's built to be as durable and as practical as one can build one of these things in the real world. My last project was a full race NSX, complete with Comptech engine. Ran great, peaky as hell, though fairly bulletproof: I wanted to beat that with Detroit iron. Took more than two years, and a bunch of false starts, but it seems we finally got there.
Driving impressions to come: hopefully Sunday when the car gets here.
Thats a real street sleeper you have there sorta like somebody else I know.
Thanks. Actually, I like the stealth approach though the exhaust noises kind of give things away. I've avoided aftermarket wheels for the same reason though I do think I'll go to all 18" in the thin spoke configuration.
I was checking your car out when it was up on the lift and you really need to ditch the rear tires......they are worn out. I would recomend some non runflats all the way around like Nitto 555's or GY Super Car tires. Toyo's are pretty good as well. Be Careful in the rain with those rear tires as worn as they are.

Appreciate the input; yes they are. I've not decided if I'll replace them with another set of supercar tires or jump up to Pilot S2's. I'll probably do the latter once the car gets home. This all reflects too much dyno time!!?? Thanks for your concern.

Glad to hear you got the car back and achieved such awesome results back! Congrats!
Thanks to all who've posted. I've commented more fully on the day's experiences in the tech section. So far the car's great. I spent a little time this morning cleaning up after the long trip home. Then ran some twisties after which I spent a little time in traffic. This package really is a beast: growly, pulls like a train, works great as a road race car mated to the 3.73's, yet doesn't kill you in traffic. All in all a job well done.
I'm enjoying this so much I'm going to take it to work tomorrow. We're doing some cases in an outreach hospital about 50 miles from the Institute: I'm looking forward to the drive :o
