another what will it run thread.
im a little excited, i have pretty much been away from drag racing for a little over 2 year. i took the vette to the track 2 times and ran some low 13's. before that i had a mid 10 sec f-body.
i recently had some mods done, so im trying to see possible where others with the same mods are at.
2004 a4 vert
corsa touring exhaust
kooks headers and off road x
halltech ssm intake
yank sy3500
3.42 rear
and a tune
will be running on 295/35/18 bfg drag radials for the track.
hoping for some 12.20's or quicker.....
running it tomorrow at MIR air should be fair and the track prep will probably be good.
any thoughts?

if it doesnt run better than 12.7 i will run it into a ditch. it ran 13.2 bone stock on 19 inch ccw's
bolt on coupes run in the 11's with the same mods.

Low 12s with a stock engine?? With his mods he has 320-325hp. Most cammed cars dont get there. (low 12s) A 4000 stall and a 3.90 gear may.
Few if any true bolt on non Z06 cars run that fast. Exceptions are few.

I ran 12.2's with that converter, 3.73's, a blackwing, tuning, and BFG drag radials. He should be able to get close.
A 4000 stall and 3.90 car with sticky tires should run 11's unless he's in colorado.

bolt on fbodys go high 11's with the same mods on a stock motor and more weight. cam only cars have been in the 10's, but mid 11's is like falling out of a tree.

Guys, I hope you are right. I have never heard of a cam only A4 running tens. Only few and very few Z06s.
The few times I have been at the track, nothing approached those numbers when I was watching. "Dial ins" marked on the windows didnt show it either.
Guess we will see..

I run a blown C5 LS1 and have to work to run 11's consistantly.

Congrats buddie. Phil hooked you up. Car dropped almost a second and a half with a converter, gear, headers, and Phils tuning. You had more in it, but I guess seeing my car leave on a trailer, gave you pause.
