looking at getting either a haltech stinger or a varam.

Does anyone know the hp increase on either one, and are there any draw backs besides the haltech taking in under hood engine air and the varam getting a true cold air intake charge.

Thanks in advance guys

cant give u numbers, but ive got the vararam on my Z and love it. i can feel it pull more in the top end in third and in to fourth. you can hear it suckin in the air at WOT. manufacturer claims are around 30hp. remember that the vararam is designed to make power at speed as oppossed to sitting on a dyno. good luck whichever way you go!

There is no comparison at all, from engine bay air temps to outside air temps.........

Heck, I cut down .2 tenths in the 1/8 with the vararam, can't wait to take it to the 1/4.
