Went down to the LS1Tech Southwest Shootout hoping to run more tens. Unfortunately, the tech guys got on me after the first run (an 11.01 @125) for not having a cage. At least on that run though, I cut a new best 60 ft time of 1.61. That run should have been a strong 10 sec. run. the launch felt perfect. It planted me into the back of the seat hard and kept me there until I felt the N20 kick off. I thought I had fixed a problem with the window switch but I was wrong. The nitrous came back on during the run. It felt so strong before the nitrous let go. I was sure it was going to be a new best.
I made it to three rounds in the bracket class then left for the day. Saw lots of nice cars. It was a great event.
I have to thank Sean at Fastech for tuning up the car. The car was having some issues with the A/F ratio but Sean worked through the problems and straightened it all out. Sean has always gone out of his way to help me, and I can't thank him enough for his efforts. Now that the car is all buttoned up and the weather is getting cooler, I hope to blow that 10.96 out of the water.
