Default What would I run?

I'm looking for some estimates as to what I would run in the 1/4. I'm planning to go sometime this summer. My mods are:

Blackwing, Dynatechs, Diablosport Predator. The car's a Z51 vert with an A4, stock 3.15's, and Goodyear runflats.

Would I make it into the 12's or be in the low 13's?

I think it all depends on which track you take it to. If you got to the ones out in Maryland or New Jersey, you'll probably run low to mid 12's with that set up.

Anywhere else in the country, most likely the best you could do is low to mid 13's.

Now watch me catch hell over that observation.

Why do you think MD and NJ is that far off. I have raced in MD, NJ, VA, FL. My times were pretty close in all those states with the same car. I ran a 2000 Gt Mustang with alot of mods.

Your car should run low 13's with what you described.

And there's no way in heyall he's gonna see low to mid 12's on run flats at any track.

I think I'd be happy with a 13.0x with that set up.
Dump the run flats for a set of BFG DR's and you could see upper 12's with a good 60'.

Hang around the Drag Racing section of the Forum for some great tips from some really great drivers.

I joined in on a few track rentals this year and had some great teachers that made all the difference.... "cough" RobZ.. "cough"...

Thanks again buddy

its all how you get out of the hole, your 60 foot is the race. i have seen 500 rwhp supercharged 383 lt1 firebirds do 1.82 60 and run 11.90 @ 125 impressive mph but at the same race my friends lingenfelter 383 firebird (1994 lt1) with 395 rwhp run 11.59 @ 117 how you ask... he did 1.56 60 foots.

Depending on the track conditions and weather, low 13's to high 12's. Whoever said low 12's is out of thier mind.

My thoughts exactly, when I read this comment in another thread. Yet I read this sort of nonsense all the time, where an essentially STOCK vette with a couple bolt-ons produces phenomenal track results nearly ALWAYS on an east coast track. Not west coast, just EAST coast; the real miracle track being the one located in New Jersey.

"I ran a 12.8@110 with a blackwing intake and the cats removed street tires with the same 60 time as you...you can easily get a 1.8 60 time and that will get you down to around 12.4

I now have a vararam, no cats, bassani x pipe and a corsa pace car catback + just got the car tuned by jeremy formato. I'm going back in a few weeks when it is cold and hoping to trap 115 and hit 11s with a huge prayer."
