rocker arm help

what roller-tip rocker arm ratio should i go with if i want to run a g5x3 cam in my 02 ls1 mn6 (stock heads)? would the crane 1.85s be fine?

Figure on picking up .031 more lift with the 1.8 rocker. Just watch out for total lift on the springs.

Actually it's .0356, which means your going from a .600 lift to a .636. You'll need better springs.

even if i decide not to go with the g5x3 cam and stick with the stock cam in my '02, ill still need beefier springs w/ the 1.8 rockers?

I would run the 1.7's with a cam like that. The cam is making plenty of lift already without adding the extra lift of the rockers.

With the stock heads you can't run the 1.85 rockers. The valves will hit the pistons. If you just install the 1.85 rockers , you should also install better springs.
