Tires affecting Dyno #'s?
I have Khumo's on my 02 Z06. I had it dyno tuned today, and the numbers appeared a bit higher than what most other Z06's with bolt on's (in the local car club) posted. The person doing the dyno noticed that there was about a 1.5 mph difference between the dyno reading and his laptop reading during the pulls at about 90mph. The khumo's are stock size. Would the little extra rubber on them cause this discrepency? The discrepency meaning me dynoing 5-7hp more than comparable Z's.
Thanks.

But to the point my personal vette that had probably 300+ dyno pulls on it showed no difference in hp or tq with new street tires(full tread) or with the same tires down on the wear indicators.
like said above though, weight is a factor, its all rotating mass the engine has to push around.
