What should i do now?

Ok guys, im having a problem of losing to my buddies toyota supra turbo. Both of us on drag radials, from a dig, he catches me by the top of second gear and by third all i see is his tail lights. From a roll, not even close to justify calling it a race, lol.
I have a fully built top end (afr heads, cam, kooks longtubes, fast intake, tuned) with a 200 shot of nitrous and he still leaves me like im stock!!! On motor i dynoed 464 rwhp, so with the 200 shot i would guess im in the 650 range. I believe my friends supra is close to 800-900 rwhp. Now my question is, what should i do? Go with a fully built stroker motor w/ nitrous or will a supercharger/turbo get me there?
Any advice is appreciated, i need help making my next move!!!

You could get a built bottom end and get a turbo kit, or supercharger.

a built low compression bottom end with a twin turbo kit at 17-18psi, sticky tires, heavy duty clutch, and a small shot of spray (75shot) and you'll flat out leave him...

Here are my 3 choices of a solution

Borrow Paul_Z06's car....
Buy my car and run that 200 shot on it...
Or just bow out and dont race any more

Stroke the motor as big as you can go forged internals and an F1 blower and you can make 800 or better at the wheels. Then beef up the drive train to handle the extra HP.

This might let you have Rice for lunch on most days

it depends on whats your budget,,,,and how reliable do you want to be?? i have a 422 and its just awesome...beats cars with way more rwhp.(mustangs , camaros)..if its not enough...try a 100 shot....do a clutch and a rear end...and he will have his hands full...good luck. if you need more...turn up the juice.

forged 402 with twin turbos or the ECS paxton at 15psi. That will make 820-850rwhp and have a 100 shot of NOS just in case...

I think Jason from TSP has a 402 TT that puts out 900 rwhp in his C6.
I would go that route, you will be able to use all your top end parts on the build. In the end it's all about what you want to spend, a 427 TT would be better.

Go with A "enhanced" TTX kit and switch to an automatic. What is your best ET with your current set up? (at the track). There is a guy up this way with a 97 coupe with a 418 with a supercharger D1SC, and runs in the mid nines and the car is heavy (over 3500lbs).

I want want to be a party crasher here or rain on someone parade but when is too much too much? Who really needs 800 rwhp in their car? Where can you possibly go to really use and enjoy it and do so safely?. I have some friends with performance shops in the city and just hanging out there you see these people (with too much money to spend) building up their cars to the point that they can't handle the power. We just had a 25 year old aquaintance with a 10 second C5 destroy his car to pieces last week. He actually passed away yesterday from the accident.

Obviously anyone can do whatever they want. I guess all I'm saying is to be careful.

I apologise to anyone I might have affended by my little rant. The crash and its results have really hit home for me and have made me see how reckless people (including myself) become with a little bit of power.

Get a 427 TT. You just do not have a prayer without some more cubes against that Supra. Depends on if you want to open the piggy bank or just forget it.
