I agree. I have used it on old slicks. If I remember correctly, it even tells you how to apply it on the back of the container. I still have mine. James
A much better way to improve traction when you accelerate on the street is to focus on squeezing the throttle and being very sensitive to what the rear wheels are doing.
If you're going out looking for trouble, dropping the rear psi to 27 cold vice 30 will help too. And make sure the rubber is up to operating temp before leaning on the throttle.
