In a quarter mile, yes the driver will make the difference (even if your car is for sure supposed to be faster, but a bad driver in a Procharged C5 is gonna loose to a good one in a C6 Z, but if both are good the C5 wins)
then if you do a 60-170 run, then you will walk away for sure!

I been there and done that on the road already with a new Z and to several unsuspecting Vipers and a set of HYbusa's who were really shocked

As a point of reference, the two fastest C5Z06 H/C cars with 470-490 rwhp run 6.20-6.25 for the 330'-1320', at a slightly negative DA.

Hi Ranger,
I think we can't compare Peterpan's car with a stock C6 Z since his car makes 742 RWHP! I will answer for you Steve (sorry, I hope you don't mind). He s not a track guy! He built his car mostly for the street that's why his slips might not reflect the real capabilities of his car (which would run mid to low tens on good tires and a good lunch)

In Peterpan's case, the traction issue is reduced by his auto tranny. But he also loses some power to the tranny. Still interest in the times, if he has any.

No BS there. Peter Pan makes 750wrhp at 6000rpm and weighs in at around 3250lbs. Thats around 875+hp at the motor...His car just plain out hauls butt..Seen it in person...
On pure street rubber and off idle launches I can only hit 12.1 trap 135 and spin until 1/8 no matter what I do. Two reasons I do not put some slicks on this are that I still have 2 stock items left as the mod budget only went so far and those are very important for a MN6 to play at the track and launch. The mods I still need so I can launch my beast are the RPM tranny and DTE differential I need and currently saving for as they are not cheap.
As Tourchvette has stated I am not a 1/4 guy and so far my tranny and differential are holding up on the street as I am not into slamming the gears hard or do I have to worry about launches as this thing spins until 4th on take offs and this is a blast.
Yo can call
all you want, but I will tell you at 70 in 3rd and mashing the pedal my car goes up in something called tire smoke and then it grabs and is into another zone. Look when I did this to the bikes this was from around 70 and they got about head until I got my rears to hook as then I was compeletly in the boost band and this is one time on the street that I saw 12 lbs of boost and did a normal shifting as I did blow by them at about 100 and shut down at 130. They stopped me and we talked about it and I was surprised myself, but when you have Sick HP broken in I had over 3k on the setup then you will know what I mean. If I was to run them from a stand still, I would have no chance on the street as I would just go up in smoke to long while they would blow me away. Oh there is nothing like having a Vette that when you are cruising along at 100 you shift into 4th and get wheel spin, I about crapped my pants when this happened to me the first time and now it just puts a smile my face
FI is addictive as I bet it is driving a kick *** street bike

Thanks for the details, peter pan. Seems that you are following a prudent course to get where you want to be. Doing that without breaking parts is always an accomplishment. Rodney and DTE are good choices.

One of the things I really like about this setup is I can take it out and abuse it for extended periods of time as I have the rev limiter so low and it is still so much fun. There is nothing like coming out of turns in 3rd at 70/80 and mashing the go pedal and getting slammed back in the seat and launching forward. Reminds me of times in an F-16 on launch or a blast in Afterburner when coming out of turns, it is such a rush
I will be taking it out today on a cruise with the club so I can get some sustained fix (boosted runs) and then go eat
