intake swap
im just curious if there is a gain, and if so, how much, on the filter/bridge/box if it comes with one, i know i put a moroso intake on my camaro and coudlnt tell a diff. at all, just curious if it does actualy give 8-12 hp

An intake that takes in cooler air, and is less restrictive will give you more HP. The problem is that your seat of the pants isn't sensitive enough to discern 10 hp. Also, most bo the better units work best at speed, so they won't show their stuff on a dyno.
Take it to the track, check your trap speed, that'll show if they work or not.

a million threads on this in C5 Tech. I run (and recommend) the Breathless Performance Products Vortex Rammer. Others swear by the vararam (and others swear AT the Vararam). One of the most contentious subjects on the Tech forum.
