This Saturday the 5th is the day!!!
Finaly got one of my projects done. A 2002 ZO6 with the P1 Pro charger, Kooks headers, and magna-flow muffs. Added Meth injection and a good tune. The rest is stock.
We are hoping for 625 rwhp. I will post the results Saturday afternoon.
Wish me luck
Don't get greedy with stock internals. You're on thin ice at boost over 7-8 psi.
This is very good advice..... even with alky injection you are definately pushing the limits of the stock internals. It seems like over the 600hp mark is where the line is for overall reliability. If you got cash to blow on a new bottom end then crank it up and see how long it lasts if not..... then be conservative and you will have lots of trouble free miles of fun
I have heard all the warning signs my fellow Vette enthusiasts, money is not as much as the issue as the fun concept. She only runs at 8 psi any who, so we will just wait and see.
it didn't turn out well.... we couldn't get his laptop to tune it so all and all it was no fun... we put it on the dyno just for giggles and the car needs lost of tunning.... running way rich....
I have no doubt this car will kit 620.... he did 575 before the headers and meth injection....
hopefully we will have the car on the dyno in the next week to get it handled.....
Wow, I'm just aiming for 500 RWHP on my heads/cam A4 with a baby 5PSI of boost from a Pro-Charger. I'll leave all tuning and installation up to the pros.
