you can get into the mid 11's w/ just a heads and cam package. id check out some of the other vendors. cartek, mti, etc. you can compare pricing all of these vendors are top notch!

OOh, nice stuff = ) Iam looking at the MTI 485 hp kit for around $9,000. Iam wondering if thats 485 hp for a Z06 though?

I made 413 hp at the wheels cam only with stock LS1 heads and the usual bolt-ons (LT headers, X pipe, Vararam, T-stat, pulley etc)

This equates to 485 at the crank. With the LS6/243 castings, you should make a little more power over the LS1's.

I've heard nothing but great things about MTI on my 2+ years here.

I'd recommend finding a tuner as close to you as possible, because you'll be needing to bring it in for work and retuning most likely.
Almost all the coastal states have great tuners in them.

You can get into the mid 11's with a small cam and bolt on's. If you dyno around 415rwhp that should be plenty.

If you want to run mid 11s, spend some money on a nice head and cam package, spec it out from top to bottom. The combo will be reliable and should run deep 11s at the track. If you need any help send me a Pm.
