Hi, I'm new to adding performance mods to my vette. I have a 99 nassau blue A4. To date I have installed a 3:42 rear end, ZO6 exhaust,
removed the cats, put on EBay stainless long tube headers, vortech cold air intake and a tune. I am running the quarter in 12.83/109.5mph with a 0-60 of 4.43 seconds. I'd like to get into the low 12's. Any recommendations? (ZO6 243 heads, ZO6 cam, granatelli MAF, BBK 80mm throttle body, etc?) What is a cost effective way to get there?
But if you decide that you want some LS6 heads a buddy of mine has a set for sale for $550 with 918 springs on them, and I will have a LS6 cam for sale in the next month or so.

If you're gong to switch out the heads and cam then why both with factory LS6 stuff?
If budget is the concern, then Texas Speed (www.texas-speed) has some great CNC ported heads and cam packages that put out some nice #'s. Don't bother going with factory LS6 stuff, it's just not worth the effort and or money or install and tune.
