Those are excellent hp #s from an A4; Most tend to be in the 290's, and I have seen some 280's. The torque is extremly strong.

How do they dyno an auto car? In a manual car, you just go through the gears and once you are in 4th and they tell you, you just go from there. But an auto, how do you keep it from kicking down into the passing gear? Do they just do it in 2nd gear?

They bring the power up slowly till about 100 mph then loor it. Otherwise it kicks down.
