2000 c5 track results
my next run ran about 25 psi on tires, did a john force burn out, 60ft. a 1.65 hit the button with help of mr TNT 100 shot and car pulled out a 11.67 @ 116 mph. Tonight im heading out to track to see what i can do with NITTO drag tires 305/35/18. These runs will be without bottle. Hoping car will do around 12.50
the only mods. i have on car so far is, vararam, borla stinger exhaust, 2600 stall, 3.42 motive gears, 100 TNT shot NOS. With in the month if im still married im ordering LG long tube headers 1.75 , x-pipie, high flow converters. She told me to marry my car...haha.

well today at the track was pretty crappy. Finally ran my NITTOS 555r and was really upset. My 60 ft. was 1.70, with only 17 lbs air. I ran best of 12.06 @ 117.... Last week with my g-force tires i did a 1.58 60 ft. 11.67 @ 118. Track condiction wasnt that good , every one was having bad 60 ft. Just to make things better, after driving back home from one hour drive, im stuck on the side of interstate . When i came to a stop my car sounded like it was stuck in 3 rd. gear. when i took off. RPM's went up to 3500 just to move the car. And i have a 2500 stall. Display showed transmission over heating and was at 265 degrees. i pull over and when i was holding brakes something was making grinding noises but clear up after moving. So tommorrow it goes to the shop and see what the hell happen. To me it sounds like the converter is going. What do yall think happen.
