Flat out no stock C5 makes those numbers, no matter how much you pray!
ha ha, i realize this, and i didnt do any praying...im not bragging or even saying my car is stock, i thought it was, but the numbers prove otherwise, this is not a competition to prove who makes the most power with a stock car. i was simply asking what could be done to my car that i dont know about, internally...i dont think that it has heads/cam because it would make more power, and would more than likely have headers as well. although possibly an ls6 cam, rockers or something else i may not know about that could increase power by 20-30whp. something of that nature?
I am ONLY trying to learn hear guys...please keep that in mind.
well since you dont like his #'s you guys wont agree with mine. i just got a 1998 z28 and i wanted to baseline it b4 i touch anything now it ONLY has a lid k&n and loudmouth catback! no tune nothing else and just shy of 100K miles!
i went to harris speedworks in pa. where i dyno my vette. we made 327rwhp and 355 rwtq! we did 3 pulls and they were all right on the money. car was alittle lean but nick said his 99 was stock and its a/f was at 17.5 from the factory. he has seen them set way lean from the factory witch is wierd. but i was impressed with those #'s from a 98 ls1 with an ls1 intake. so i think your #'s might be right on!

i dont doubt that my numbers are right on. i am sure of this. however i am simply wondering what else is done to the car. from your numbers, im wondering the same about yours, must be something done you don't know about, at least a tune in the past? with almost 100k miles that seems very possible, unless you have owned it since new.
went to the track today at the corvette challenge @ richmond dragway. on the last run i got the car to run a 12.69@112.30. I was very happy with these numbers although i think i can get it down a little still as my 60' was a 2.01. Anyway, im still wondering what could be done with this car as the dyno numbers and the 1/4 time were much better than expected. Possibly a cam? a mild one, or maybe just an ls6? the car idles normal sound leaves no hint at a cam, but this is my first corvette and im no expert. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
as for the event today, it was, in my opinion, very well organized and ran pretty smooth, especially since it was only about 50 degrees at best with brisk winds all day. a lot of cars came out and i had a great time!

Does it have 243 stamped on the heads? LS6 intake and maybe like mentioned a 2003 LS6 cam.
im not sure, i'll have to check that out today or tomorrow, when the recent snowstorm melts...i dont think the head bolts have ever been turned though so i doubt it
