Whatt's up new to forum but have been educating myself from some interesting posts. Bought 98 LS1 conv 2 weeks ago totally stock female driven awsome cond. Defininetly to Quiet. had catbacks installed sounds much better ,installed vararam ,then 160 thermostat and hypertech tune. did tb coolant caps and ran coolant hose from radiator straight to t conn to heads. Am I going in right direction runs great.Got rid of that chick car feeling. So far everything is pretty much low cost dont want to go tearing into the engine ,Is there any other external mods that would help performance. past posts helped me not cut into condenser while inst vararam and not cross connecting coolant line with pcv breather line .Man I feel for those guys. Thanks again and any info appreciated

Congrats on the new purchase. As far as future mods. What are your long term goals? A lot of people would recommed gears or headers next.

I would say a pro tune would be better and maybe an under drive pully if you don't want to tear into the motor.Other than that you may want to do some handling mods like sway bars and shocks but alot depends on how you want to drive it.

welcome to the board, glad to hear you're modding the vette, now you won't stop lol the mod bug gets us all What catback did you put on? Personally I like the loud bb bullets, some others like corsa. What's your long term goals? If you're making it a 1/4 mile car, 4.10 gears is the best bang for the buck, if you want to make it even less feeling of a chick car put lt headers with an x pipe for your next mod
