Default Expected Dyno Numbers

I tried this out in the Z06 section but thought I would post here for more input.

I have an 01' Z, 228/228 cam, stage 2 ported ls6 heads, dynotech LT's, hi-flow cats, stock ti exhaust, shaner ported TB, hurricane intake and msd wires.

What kind of power should I be making?

Thanks guys.

The car only put down 377/370 on a Dyno Jet the other day. Which I think is very low.

Besides the Tune, what other factors could cause the low numbers? I've seen similar setups making 425-430.

Can you post your dyno sheet? Something is not right. You should be making that with the cam only.

Well it was a messed up situation, I took the car there to get it tuned because it has a nitrous tune now with a few degrees of timing backed off. So we did the baseline pull and then they figured out they didnt have software to tune it with . So they didnt charge me for the dyno run but also didn't give me the dyno sheet either.

I do remember seeing that as my cuve was going up, it had random dips down and back up probably about 5 or 6 dips at peak power.. but I didn't feel the car missing?

I'm sure the graph would help show would I'm talking about but any ideas on what could have done this?

I feel stupid posting this but I'm pretty sure the defroster was left on , could the dips have been the compressor kicking on and off?

I would not race that car and get it tuned before you damage something. Did they even log the A:F?

Shoot me a PM if you like.

No they didn't log the A/F, the sniffer had a wiring problem and it wouldn't stay on

Needless to say I will do my research on the shop before I waste a trip to get it tuned next time.

But thanks for getting me worried now, What do you think could be the possible problems?

PM me if you'd like.

Thanks

Sounds low. I'd expect upwards of 400rwhp.
