LS 6 243 heads
Thinking about porting these heads, I am told that they will flow just over 300cfm. What are your thoughts. The total cost would be $1500.00 I want to make around 400 to 430 rwhp. Of course new cam, headers long tube, ud pulley, ported tb. Thanks guys for your input.

If done correctly those heads can flow easily over 300cfm. But flow numbers don't tell you everything, how you get that 300+ cfm in your port design is the most important thing. You'll see some heads that flow over 300 cfm that just don't make as much power as another set of heads that flow roughly the same figures.
