Trick Flow Heads And Cam

I Was Wondering If Anybody Has Trickflow Heads & Cam Results With Automatic. I Have A 2000 Corvette Auto With 3:15 Rear End. I Read In Some Corvette Magizine That They Were Putting 550 At The Flywheel. If You Take 15% From 550hp
That Would Be Approx. 472hp To The Wheels. Does That Sound Right?

470ish RWHP is well within reason with a setup like that. Heres a post of a HC auto car with trickflow headsin that range.

Generally, the accepted loss through the A4 tranny is 20% and that equates to 440 RWHP - (440/.8=550)....and that is a very achievable RWHP with heads/cam combination.

You'll need a higher stall converter and different rear to take advantage of HP figures like that.

I don't know what your combination could produce but to give you an idea take a look at my thread below:

So what are the cc's on those TFS heads that are "worked over." Are 215s that have been worked over to basically be 235s?

The formalar is divide .82 into the rwhp for the A4 and it will give you the fly wheel HP and .88 for the MN6 tranny to get the flywheel HP..

it sounds possible but that is the high side of results. not many cars are going to achieve those numbers.
