Got my baseline dyno today (had a coupon!) Anyway, I figured that everything was working right as the car came back with 307 rwhp, and 322 rwtq on a Mustang dyno. A/F was rich throughout the run, around 11.5 or so.
This is a 98 M6, 3.42 gears, with an LS6 intake and unknown catback exhaust. It looks to me like the motor is healthy enough to start playing with, even after about 100k miles. What do you guys think?

p.s. Free plug to the guys at DID Racing for really taking their time with me today, and making sure I understood everything they were doing, even though I didn't spend a dime!
Lot's more HP in there with the right tune...you are pig rich. And for the motor, I have 175,000 miles on my 98, 150,000 miles a 1/4 mile at a time. Car has been rode hard & put away wet far to many times & is just now getting a rebuild due to a nitrous explosion that caused some damage. These motors are just broke in at 100k!
Lots more power? Although I understand that its rich, how much are we talking about? 10?, 20?
I figured I'd wait on a tune until I started modifying. Just for my own information, what would these numbers translate to on a Dynojet?

I would estimate at least 6-12 (or more)....which is a lot in the rwhp book. Seeing as you are in IL, give Mike at Straightline a call, he will probably do you a tune with a low cost re-tune when you do more mods....especially if done by him.
