Question guys, I am not sure if I can ask this so I apologize if this is not the right place to be posting it but anywhere so I here I go. I have a 1999 C5 Corvette when I'm done this will be my total mod list: Dual K&N intake, higher flowing MASS, high performance air bridge and coupler, higher flowing throttle body, LS6 Intake manifold, Diablo Tuned, MSD ignition wires, NGK TR55 plugs, Throttle body by pass coolant, 160 thermostat, American Racing long tube headers with high flow cats and x-pipe, corsa indy pace car exhaust, short throw shifter. (I think thats it). VS a 2005 Rousch stage III Mustang GT. Which puts out 415HP and 400torque at the flywheel. What do you guys think. Both are manuals my cars a 6 the mustangs a 5 and they are both coupes. I am concerned with 1/4 mile and 0-60 times.
oh yeah thats right that car has a full redone suspension. I still have stock suspension. If I made the car tighter like put better sway bars in it would that help me at all or is it more of a shocks thing?
That mustang will run about a 12.5 at 111mph IMO. Your car with a good driver could run about the same and from a roll you will have weight and aerodynamics on your side. If you can take him out on a nice warm day and have at it twice. Miss a gear and make him do a do over. The supercharger on that car will be so hot he'll loose about 10-20rwhp on the next run. Keep making him run till she over heats LMAO!
Similar mods to my C5 and I trap 114mph on average which is good for bottom 12's high 11's. Remember that mustangs are WAY overrated in power! I've take stock 03 Cobra's before, but it's truly a drivers race. You're going to need to cut under 2.0 60's to make it happen.
Drivers race... I polished of a Vortech charges 03 GT with only DR's and a Blackwing. This was my best run ever before LT's at 12.5@114 with a 1.8 60'. Its all in the launch with the C5. Keep us posted...
hahaha ok guys I have aftermarket rims which i run with run flats but ill put drag radials on my stock set and just swap them on and off for drag racing so ill kick its ***

save your money on the mass air. scrap the dual cone and get a vararam or get the halltech stinger ssm and do the ice box mod. Scrap the diablo tune and do an LS1 edit tune or hp tune. with full boltons, you'll be between 340-350rwhp. Which is around 410 at the flywheel. You shouldn't have any problem beating the rousch.

I'm shocked by that vid because 03/04 Cobra motors are among the strongest engines ever produced. One of my friends in town here swapped the stock blower for a Kenne Bell and pumped up the boost and made 680rwhp on a completely stock motor with a conservative tune.
It's all in the tune.
However, the Roush Stage 3 uses a stock GT motor with a roots blower stuck on top and doesn't have as much potential as the Cobra you posted about.
