Congrats to Tsab for finally getting the car together and running a new PR with alot rust.
Tom has a P1 in an m6 c5.
With a few more passes I think you would have seen mid-low 10's.
On that pass the seatback broke loose and he had to shift in a semi-reclined position.

It' great to hear that Tom wasn't late for the rental.
Great job on dropping the ET's...especially after not being in the car on the strip for nearly a year.

I used to put a 6x6 block of wood behind it to prevent this. My ghetto solution. Just like Tom, I found myself on a few runs strugglin to see the track over the steering wheel at 130mph thru the traps.
It's like when a receiver gets his shoulder dislocated and still hold on to the ball.

Thanks Don, its time for you to get back to the track. You've had enough vacation, time to get back to work and put that car in the 10's.

Yeah, That run might have been a high 10.4x or a 10.5x if the seat hadn't broke and messed up my 1 to 2 shift a little. Shoot, I ran a 10.75 on a crummy 1.68 60' time. The car wants to go thats for sure. I was laughing about the seat driving the car all the way home. I'm looking forward to the next rental and give it another go.
