How much will MSD wires help?

How much will MSD wires help?

Have ran a 13.22 with minor bolt ons. Y2K-A4 Auto w/2.73
Just changed the stock wires out for MSD 8.5mm and the car feels faster SOTP. Do you think it actually is faster?

Been a casual drag racer and gearhead since I was a kid with a souped up Flathead V8 Ford. Most of the stuff you hear about Spark plugs and wires is so much hype,Stock GM wires and plugs should work fine.
However with 93,000 miles I was going to change out anyway, I think mabye I was getting a high rpm missfire that was not noticeable in the car. Anyway it feels faster and I will check it out at the track. Mabye it was that hood seal!.

The originals were probably smoked. The stock Z06 wires are just as good, if not better than the MSD's.
