a C6 rear crossmember next week. Life is good!!

Fartpipe - Broke 3 C5 rearends in 07 going to run a C6 Z06 rearend by Rodney (RPM Transmission) attached to my 4L60E tranny. With Rodney's "stuff" to make it work. Thus the C6 crossmember. C5's have a 7 7/8 ring gear while C6 Z06's have an 8 7/8" ring gear and a super strong housing and mounting system. Hopefully I will be able to actually race this year. Hopeing to run 8.90's to 9.30's (Ran 9.60's last year
in between blown rearends)! Broke at or right before every major event last year : Pump Gas Drags, Drag Week, Super Chevy Show, NMCA/NMRA Shoot Out, and the LSX Shoot Out in Memphis!!!!! Trying to maintain my IRS, Pro Charged, Street Legal, Pump Gas, None Back Halved configuration. Launching from idle (1,000 rpm) this car gets 1.38 to 1.45 60's.

I was just at FLP on Friday and put my Penski Drag Shocks converted to Coil Overs back on the car. Hopefully I will have some pics of the conversion in about 2 weeks!!
It will be a while for pics from me, It appears that in my situation (C5/T56) the rear mounting holes are close to 2" off and custom mounts are being built to make it work.
