Lets see who plans on running what times/mph at the track. If you like throw in what is going to better the time versus last year with your previous best. Just to pass some time till the weather comes our way.
Me
Prev- 11.02@126.65mph with 1.51 60ft
2008- 10.89@127.0xmph with 1.47 60ft-4.3x 330ft,6.9xx 1/8th at 99mph
Whats gonna help me hopefully.
New ET streets versus old worn out ones
Slightly changed tune bottom only the low end but hey who knows
I'll be able to hotlap due to roll bar, firejacket and harness
2005 C6 trans to be put in soon will help with shifting-same gear ratios though
New plug wires LOL! Shut up it could help...
Raising the car up for better weight transfer hopefully

Also wanna get some of that Vette Doctors Contingency money they have so generously offered ($250) for any one who wins with $1,000 of Vette Doctors installations and showing their name on the windshield.

What is involved in dropping an 05 trans in your car? Is it just a direct bolt in project?

Direct bolt in, just has steel shift forks, compressed carbon blocker rings, better centering mechanism, lead tipped 1-2-3-4 gears. I'm hoping with this being the case i hope to be able to really shift the car this year and make something come together. I'm adding 50lbs to the car so I need to improve with driving alone .20 i'm figuring. I hope this all comes together so I can keep on saying... "FASTER THAN NICHOLBAG"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!
Gateway Int. Raceway - Rained out for opening 3-15-08..
Goal for 2008 is to go faster....
On 10-16-08, my last run of the year, A4 Arctic White went 12.361 at 111.02. Still has the 2:73 gear and stock LS1 (original tune) with only intake and exhaust bolt-ons.
First step this year is to practice... to get that 12.36 back.
Second step will be a tune...goal is 11.999 with the 2:73.
Any tweaking ideas?
Third step is 3:42 differential and into the 11's.
Thanks
Mark
