Default will a different intake help performance

I have been looking into a cold air intake for my C5. The current intake has a 90 degree bend right before the MAF sensor and I have been told that the 90 causes bad MAF readings. My current setup just sits on the radiator shroud witch seems like it wouldn't get much clean good air. I can not run the Vararam due to the dedicated fuel system I have. I have looked at the breathless performance ram induction witch looks like it will clear the dedicated fuel tank.

Do you guys think I will benefit from a better intake system?

What system would be best?

Here is a picture of my setup

Not to mention the pressure loss in a 90 degree bend is equal to 5' of straight duct length. Just go for an open element filter, like you linked above. The Blackwing and Stinger are other options too.

Both blackwing and stinger are very similar to what I have with the exception of the 90 in the pipe. I don't think I would benefit much from either one of those.

I guess my question is= Will a ram air intake system out perform my current intake system?

Witch ram air intake system is best?

Vortex
Vararam
Honker

am I missing any more?

Thanks for any input on this guys.

I am using the Trap intake with the tunnel port (license plate screen).Works great and is a true cold air intake.
