I went to the track the other day and ran a few passes starting with a 10.6 at 136 then 10.4 at 137 then 10.2 at 136. The two last passes are what I really want some input on. How much mph are you supposed to pick up on the back half?

1/4 10.02
mph 142

1/8 6.4
mph 111
1/4 9.96
mph 137
You are really making some power there.
The difference in trap speed may correspond with a quicker ET. I have heard that often at the track. Some of my "quicker" runs were not as "fast" as the slower runs.
It also helps a lot to have some trackside support to analyze the runs after each pass.

automatic....but I changed it from a manual. From the log files it shows I am letting off the gas to about 80% after the 1/8th when it gets kinda squirly uptop.
shifting the car at around 6300 with the auto. i used to shift around 6500 with the 6 speed. do you think I should up the shift points some?
Yes definitely! I don't even know your setup but the higher shifts points will really help out if you are running a centrifugal blower which is my guess from you traps.
