This photo is the best I could do. My scanner died.
I went to Mooresville's 1/8th track saturday, hoping for a 6.99999999.
Man was I surprised and happy. I got in 3 runs. The clock malfunctioned on the 2nd run. Both recorded times are under 7 sec.
The 3rd was best.
1.542-60'
6.891-1/8th
@100.594mph
It was supposed to be cool weather but it got up to 75* so I quit. I think there are 6.7's in it with more tuning and cooler temps.

Those were some sweet runs Joe! I could only manage a 7.33 on Saturday. You will definitely see some 6.7xx's when it cools down. You need to heat them tires up more!!!

Thanks, I'm hoping!
I think your right about heating the tires. I was spinning off the line, but it did come out smooth and straight.
Nice 60' with that much power. What tires are you running?
That should put you at a 10.7-8 pass on the full quarter.

I'm running MT ET Streets. I did spin smooth and straight for about 25'. I don't think it hurt too much, but I think I can do better with lower tire pressure and heating the tires better.
If Concord isn't strict about rollbars I would like to get 1/4 mi. times.

I think it's good to get some spin on the launch with ET's. A lot better than bogging or blowing a rear.
If it is open to the public and not a private rental, I don't think they can let you run sans cage.
NHRA rules and insurance issues make this mandatory for every track I've ever asked that question to.
That is why I'm limited to rentals (which are awesome) until I get my cage next year.
You can always get your "I didn't know she'd do 10's" pass before getting the boot.

Damn that was you out there, haha I have got to put a face with the names next time Im out there. I was out there running the Pewter 6 speed FRC with the GTO spares up front.
Your car is rolling out and definitely the quietest stock sounding 6.80 car I have ever seen.

I like stealthy!
I remember your car, very nice. I'll look for you too.
