Well I have had my 00 A4 Coupe for almost a month. During this time I have been trying to figure out what brand of headers to go w/. So, today while on vacation down in Savannah Ga I decided to get my first dyno (figured it would be best to find out where I was at before I start spending money). The car currently has Borla Catback and Veraram intake. Well my results were 319.4 rwhp and 341 rwtq (I know I don't have a monster yet but give me some time). I was pretty happy w/ the results. Tomorrow I am headed back to Waldorf, MD and I plan on ordering my headers w/in the next couple of days!
Not really sure about the converter I will have to ask. I am not as you would say mechanically incline, so I am trying to learn as much as possible and I don't take anything personally. You have given me something else to research
You have a sheet to post up? that's a healthy LS1... 320rwhp is... a lot. Don't worry about the peak numbers- they're usually in a place you don't visit much anyway (6500rpm land) worry about what the curve looks like and what it'll take to get the left half of the curve up. Headers=great place to start.
Here's a suggestion, use the dyno as "gain-o-Meter" not as a "cool-o-meter" have the car dyno'd right before putting headers on, and dyno'd after, in as close to the same conditions as possible, ignore the numbers and look at the gain... then go enjoy
