Good drag tire?

Good drag tire?

Looking for some advise. I have a pair of Hoosier A6 autocross slicks and was wondering how these tires would perform at the drag strip?
How would they compare to say a drag radial? Thx for the help and Happy Thanksgiving!!

From what I've read they're not going to be nearly as good as a drag radial but probably better than your typical street radial.

They will perform way better than any street radial. Those tires he has are still R compound rubbers, and should perform better than Nitto drag radials for example.

I agree they will perform better than any street radial.
I don't think they will perform better than a nitto drag radial however.

Alot depends on your setup/clutch/etc.

If those have a hard sidewall, I would be careful on the track. I have seen a few friends break their rear ends with hard sidewall tires on the dragstrip. I'm talking about hard sidewalls like the Eagle GSCS road racing tires.
