Default Any guestimates

Hey guys I have a C5 Coupe and just bought a set of E.T Perf. Heads and a Comp Cams Torquer 3 cam. Heads were worked and flow 328 at .600 lift and the cam is .648/.598 on a 111 L/S. My other mods are: Vararam CAI P/P TB, LS6 Intake, TSP 1 3/4 LT's w/ off road X-pipe, TCI 3200 stall, 3.42 rear gears and Borla Stinger catback system. Any guestimates of what RWHP I'll be at with these new heads and cam? Thanks guys..

Wow...That would be nice!! I would love to be at 500RWHP. Would adding a FAST 92 setup and underdrive pulley get me there?

Not an Automatic with a high stall and not with the cam either.

It's just numbers,a dyno that is super liberal or super conservative will spit out HP/TQ numbers to whatever ends your trying to acheive. The real proof of rwhp is in the 1320' trap mph, this will throw out (disprove) all the phony claims of HP/TQ (high or low)that you see published! The mathematical law of physics always applies with a small degree (percentage)of variance.

So take the car to the drag strip and find out what your real HP was on that day.If your dyno numbers are real world then the trap mph should closely correspond mathematically. There are several calculators on line that can be used for this purpose.

show us some times slips and youll, get a much better idea of rwhp after conversions of times and speed through the 1/4 also include vehicle weight with you in car day you run. youll have to get the car to hook up.,spinning aint winning and wont give you those big numbers like a dyno

How well does your car idle and how is your driveability when cruising? I take it you have stock cubes? The reason i ask about driveability is cause my cam is similar in my 7.0L.(.647" on a 110* 254 262) Can you let the clutch out at idle and run it up the rpms(not at w.o.t.) and it drives smooth, for the most part? Thanks-Jason

ill assume the dyno is a mustang which makes numbers look realistic as i had some numbers that were about 19 rwhp less on mustang dyno with 2.5 ls-6 heads ported by tspeed that did not flow as good as your etp's do, also my cam was a224/230 114+2. with good track prep and a drag pack that gets you the traction youll need i'll guesse your car is in 10.9 country maybe 10.8. get the car tuned not half assed tuned if you want the right results. looking forward to your times. good luck
