Got my car back last night from getting my ST-Trim put in.I got stuck in rush hour traffic on the way home, took me about 40 min. to go 20 miles,so I got to use it alot.lol! It's alot smoother than I thought it would be after reading some of the post on hear about the lower holding levels being grabby,I figured mine would be worse. As you let out on it and you first feel the car start to move,I can let it out about another inch and it don't do much, then another inch or so and your out.Long as I was thinking about what I was doing,it wasn't to bad.It felt like it might of got alittle more grabby the longer I drove it but I'm not sure.Do they get grabbier as they breakin?Besides the 6,000 rpm dumps every time I take off,any tips on breaking it in?
Does anyone have a slight rattle at idle with the twin disk? I have a PT trim and sometimes at idle I get some rattle, but goes away when I push the clutch pedal down.

My twin got smooth as glass after some track runs. Just didn't last very long.
6k rpm dumps might not be the best way to break it in. You want to try and slip the clutch slowly 10-15 times and let it cool off then do the process 2 or 3 more time(around town not at the track). If you over heat it it will get chattery. But I will say that even after all that, the clutch felt a lot better after a hard day at the track.

I heat cycled mine quite a few times before I hit the track.

Sounds like short runs are the best way to go with cool down time.Is anyone else running the ST Trim?I did'nt notice any rattle, but I'll have to make sure.
I went out and checked, and I don't hear anymore rattle than stock.Every since the B&M shifter went in,I've heard some.I was also wondering if to short of runs was bad for break in?
I got to drive the car alittle more tonight and I did get alittle chatter this time if I tried to slip it very much. That was after about 10 min. of city driving. What rpm should I try to stay under when taking off until it gets broke in?It did seem alittle more grabby to.

IMO, you want a higher rpm takeoff so you can slip the clutch longer and not have it start chattering.
