Anyone know if/what the aerodynamic limit of the C5 body is? I remember seeing a post on the forum years ago about this. Something about an air pocket that builds up at the nose of the car at 190mph+.

In 1997/8 Mario Andretti drove a stock bodied Doug Rippie (I believe it was a DRM car) C5 Coupe to 200 and plenty mph in a magazine test.

He commented the car felt a little light but I don't recall him saying it was scary.

When I get home I will try find the mag and scan the article.

I'm running a six speed but 175mph felt good.....with the suspension on perf. felt like I could drive forever at that speed.....and it was still climbing pretty well when I let off.
