Default MS4 02 z06

hey guys, just installed my tsp ms4 and brought it to the dyno untuned. the driveability is much better than i ever imagined. the way people talk it up is like its almost impossible to daily drive. i daily drive the car and i love it. il post an update once the car is tuned.

ENJOY!

UPDATE-------------------------------------------------------
finally got a chance to take it to the track.

my best run of the night was 12.3@120mph w/ 2.1 60ft

the tire filler station was down that night so i was not able to lower the tire pressure on my M/T drag radials. so once i get tuned i will go back to the track and hopefully cut a better 60ft with lower tire pressure.

my next plans are 4.10 gears and possibly nitrous. i know the 4.10 gears will compliment the cam nicely but what about with nitrous? im guessing with 4.10 gears i will be running out of gear at about 130-132 revving out to about 7k. can anyone chime in with any knowledge or suggestions for this setup? thanks!

Texas speed makes it, 239/242 .649/.609 I talked to someone who has it and he says it's a dog under 4k rpm. Sounds awesome though.

I LOVED MINE, lil cam surge under 2k but once it hit around 4k it pulls like a ****. sad i had to let it go for a blower friendly cam.

3.90/4.10 rear compliments that cam perfect

So this cam appears often on the forum and most say its way too big. As far as the "*******" under 4k rpm, with 4:10's in a 6sp I am assuming this set up would be killer? Any comments??

Great numbers man! Gotta love that lope. A intake should help free up a lot of hp too, with that huge intake lift.

Looking forward to some track times too.

I've heard it can be a close call even with stock head, so definitely triple check your PTV clearances before you throw a MS4 in.

a friend of my had this cam on his T/A... car was full bolt on, had ported 243's,4.10 and nitrous... driveability was not all that great, the pull was awsome over 4k.... under 4k the pull was ok but if it bogged a little at the launch the car would feel pretty crappy...the car did have a stock ls1 intake so that didnt help

I think it would work well with 4.10's for the street/strip. The gears will pick it right up.
No doubt a 10 second pass with a clutch in good air.

Thanks robz, I have read alot of your posts and you pull some crazy times out of your set up. I am really leaning on this cam. If some others could chime in on a MS4 + 4.10's it would really help me decide on this combo. Sounds awesome by the way
