this is weird... my previous best time with my car (02 Z) with full exhaust/intake/tune BALD tires was 12.56 @114 with a 2.1 60'
Now with the new invo rears i managed a 1.88 60' (still spinning a little) but only hit 12.50 @113.....What gives??? granted it was pretty warm outside (florida) with bad track prep
heat makes a big difference. I just took my 03Z to the track (stock) and went 12.75 @ 111 on a 2.0 60'. After cooling the car down and making another pass on a similar 2.0 60' i went 12.5 @ 115. Try going back on a cool night you'll be suprised at how much of a difference it makes
How about this raw data to really screw you up....These 3 passes were back to back to back on the same night.
(All runs were bone stock with a tune and drag radials only... 1999 FRC)

60.....1.895
1/4....12.682

A .162 worse sixty foot yielded a .017 better E/T in the same D/A. Sometimes the car just don't make any sense!
I've done that a few times and am fairly sure it was due to spinning on launch = higher traps. The quicker ET was better shifting, and my set-up ran better after she got warmed up. I've seen better times from coolant temps in the low 200's than coolant in the upper 180's.
