"as cast heads"
Has anyone other than Vengence racing applied these heads? I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a set and get rid of the old MTI
2e heads. I gained nothing from those heads.
Any performance increases, hp/torq. increases, seat of the pants? I spoke with TF and they stated 40-60hp increase over stock.

Im just really surprised that more builders havent commented on these heads. Vengance stated this morning in an email that they have utilized these heads on around 60 combinations so far and has great results, but other than distributors this is the only "testamonial" to the actual improvements> I would like to hear from someone that has installed these and can give me an owner evaluation.

I think Fran at Race Proven Motorsports has installed at least one set of these heads. I could be wrong though.

I Hope To Answer This Question!
I will post my results as I have this going on my 98 Auto by Straightline Performance.........With FLP Headers, Vortex Rammer, Rpm Level IV, Yank SS3200, Stock 315 Rear, DTE Trans Brace, Magnaflow out the Rear.....Baseline Dyno'ed Thurs 325HP/332# Torque. I am going with Vengance Racings TFS "as cast" 220, with a 236/238 595/601 113+2 XRE Lobe comp cam, Non Adj Yella Terras, 25% Underdrive, new oil pump, timing chain, Fast Ported 92MM/Ported LS2 Throttle Body, and Just ordered the Vararam to finish this off and see what can be achieved! I can let everyone know what the real deal is with an LS1 that has never been tuned......only bolt ons.

Had my car dyno tuned the other day for the first time ever and here
where the results with the Trickflow "As Cast" heads.
Max Power: 435.09 Max Torque: 397.21
Honker Intake
LS1 Maf
LS1 ported TB
Old FAST 78 intake (Self ported)
Trickflow "As Cast" heads cut down to 61cc
Comp 850-16's
FAST 36lbs.
7.5 pushrods
Yella Terra Ultralite's 1.7's
VRX3 226/228 114lsa
Kooks 1 3/4 headers
Kooks Cat'd X-over
Corsa Pace Car Exhuast
3.73 Gears
The LS1 Maf and LS1 TB is hurting me a bit for sure but is a blast to drive so far!
With a FAST 92+, LS2 TB and Z06 Maf should be able to pickup a few hp in the future over the old FAST 78.
