Default New Personal Best!!! (Video added!!!)

Went out to the track again last night (Friday) and made a few passes. Here is my first pass:

7:33 PM

Reaction: .9135 (not focusing on the tree obvisously)

60ft: 1.6665

330ft: 4.8017

1/8 ET: 7.3800

1/8 MPH: 96.38

1/4 ET: 11.3759

1/4 MPH: 124.97

That pass felt great. I knew it was better than a 11.49 (last best). I was really excited.

Second pass. 8:32 pm

Reaction: .4127 (again...not focusing on the tree obvisously)

60ft: 1.6671

330ft: 4.8040

1/8 ET: 7.3834

1/8 MPH: 96.98

1/4 ET: 11.3731

1/4 MPH: 125.07

I had two other passes that are close to these numbers but not really worth posting because on one I hit third gear and the tires brok loose and I let out for a second and then got back into it.

Anyhoo... the Density Altitude was: 2778 feet and the Relative Density: 92.12 % so I believe the car still has a LOT in it and im so damn excited about the cold weather getting here in Nov-Dec!

Tell me what you guys think!!!

Here is the video. Here that bog at that launch!!! HAHAH 10's on motor soon!!!

I think you have close to a ten second car there if you can get the sixty foot a little lower and wait on cold air !!! Nice going !

Thanks, man! Everytime I go out now I focus more and more on my launch and shifting. I actually shifted a little earlier in the RPMs like you guys suggested and it paid off by over a .10th of a second. My buddies are wanting me to go ahead and spray it into the 10's but I refuse. I want it to run 10's on motor and then spray it.

Have you guys tried to throw a bag of ice on the intake inbetween runs to lower the IATs? I used to do that on my KB Cobra and it helped a ton. Just wondering if the LS guys do it also and have any luck with it?

I use to use Ice packs on mine, not sure if it made any difference ...I normaly use fans to cool the car down, and tranny...

My goal, was to get the tranny down to 140, and the oil down to 150, by the time you do your burnout and stage the temps are back up.

Cooler temps will bring some good numbers, just try and let her cool down between runs...

JD, You might consider putting tr55's in right now. The Tr6's are for Nos, so i'm thinking you could pickup some HP by changing...

Worth a try...
